A Martin D28 That Won’t Bankrupt You

I heard my first Martin D28 in Nashvialle. My friend, Kate, is out there trying to launch her country music career. (Mostly she’s launching a lucrative waitressing career-but that’s another blog post.) At a party, one of those semi-industry affairs– her boyfriend pulled out his Martin D28 acoustic guitar. Dear holy god the tone, the deep bottom end. I don’t know about you, but finding a guitar with good lows is hard to find. I asked how much…he said…not enough. Well, I did some research and it turns out this guitar isn’t as unobtainable. Yes, you can get fancy marquis versions that run close to five thousand. But this here is a great standard guitar that will definitely keep you rolling. Forget Taylor and Gibson—go with this Martin guitar as the acoustic you need to invest in.
