Martin D28 Guitar That Elvis Played (Sort of)
I don’t usually fall for the whole limited edition thing. (I’m still reeling from the whole Star Wars VHS limited edition—damn you Mr. Lucas.) Still, when it comes to exquisite guitars this Martin D28 guitar Elvis Presley edition is quite possibly the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. With rare Madagascar rosewood back and sides, and an Adirondack spruce brace, this Martin D28 acoustic guitar offers some of the most powerful tones you’ve ever heard. But….how does it look? Uh…awesome. It’s got a personalized leather cover, embossed with King’s name, that looks cool and vintage at the same time. (A beautiful oversized Geib-style case—hardshell of course—might be the coolest thing I’ve owned since my land speeder.) This is most definitely an investment that will reap you benefits for years to come.

Product Description |
|
Just 175 beautiful guitars were made of the D-28M Elvis Presley , a guitar model that most closely resembles Elvis' 1955 D-28 acoustic guitar. It was done to celebrate the Martin co.’s 75th anniversary. This axe comes with a fitted leather cover, Elvis Presley’s name sewn across the lower bout. That unique leather cover, first conceived by Charles Underwood, made Elvis' D-28 guitar instantly distinguishable.
